The built environment is a critical part of everyone's lives. How we build affects our health, our safety, our communities, and our planet.  However, buildings and construction are rarely discussed or appreciated outside of the professional AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) community.  Even sustainability enthusiasts are often unclear about the impact and high-impact strategies of the built environment.  So how can we quickly raise awareness?

Buildy Green was developed as an ambassador for this critical worldwide movement and offers a broad, introduction with a positive, uplifting tone.  Buildy Green, It Takes a Team! A Better Building Story is written in the style of a children's book to make green building concepts easy to understand by even elementary-level audiences—and to show these concepts are truly elementary in nature.
